Glacier
Point is a one hour drive from the valley. Trailheads along the
Glacier Point Road lead to Taft Point and Sentinel Dome.
The best time for Glacier Point is sunset. Sometimes some amazing
colors appear shortly after sunset; alpenglow. So don't leave
too early, even if it's another hour drive in the darkness 'til
You reach Your bed or dining table.
